Managing HIV/ AIDS in the workplace and community - Positive people
This course is relevant for employed and unemployed people who are
interested in knowing more about HIV/ AIDS and how to deal with it, both in
the workplace and in community settings. It is relevant to people of all levels,
but a minimum of AET Level 2/ Grade 5 English ability is needed to go
through it.
The mode of delivery is adapted according to the level and needs of the
participants. Although it is relevant for all South Africans, shop stewards, HR
Managers, Skills Development Facilitators and Community Development
Practitioners should be particularly encouraged to attend. The course is unit
standards based and can contribute to qualifications at both NQF1 and
NQF3.
